The introductory post

Hi everyone.
I guess I'll start by explaining the name of my blog, "Katte ni Michelin."

Well first of all, 'katte ni' is Japanese for 1) at one's pleasure, 2) at one's own free will, etc.

And 'Michelin' publishes a series of annual guide books, including ratings of restaurants.

I mixed up the two words together, since I wanted to create a blog where I reviewed restaurants, recipes, and all things food related, as I wish, when I wish. So all in all, I'll be doing this blog at my pace and writing about the food related things I love. Hopefully those who come across it will enjoy it~
